The driver ZLED7320 extends the family of the 40V LED driver of ZMDI. With a maximum output current of 1.0A, it very usefully completes the already existing components with 0.75A and 1.2A. Having very small dimensions (DFN-5 package), the ZLED7320 achieves an efficiency factor of up to 98%. It primarily addresses the market of Retrofit LED lighting fixtures, street lighting and traffic signals.

The driver is equipped with a dimming function with a adjusting range of  1200:1, that can become controlled by PWM or analog voltage. The switching transistor is already integrated and allows LED currents of up to 1.0A at a accuracy of  ±3%. Additionally, protection functions against short-circuit, open circuit and overtemperature are existing. The  ZLED7320 has an operating temperature range of -40°C bis 85°C. Only a few external components are necessary in typical applications. An evaluation kit is available.
